Instructions:

Swedish White Brownies

2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
Pinch of salt
2 cups flour
1 cup melted butter or margarine
2 teaspoons almond extract

Beat sugar, eggs and salt until light. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan and sprinkle sugar on top. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes.
