Henry's End Shrimp with Basil-Garlic Butter

12 jumbo shrimp (3/4 pound), shelled and deveined
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/3 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil
6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 cup shredded fresh basil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking and saute.
