Instructions:

1,2,3,4,5 Chinese Spareribs

1-2 lbs spare ribs, each cut in thirds for smaller pieces 
(you can ask the meat cutter in the store to do this) you must wash in cold running water to remove cuttings and dry with paper towels

1 Tbsp. canola oil
2 Tbsp rice wine 
4 Tbsp dark brown sugar 
3 Tbsp red vinegar 
6 Tbsp soy sauce 
5 Tbsp water 
(optional ½ tsp. red color)

Directions: 

Heat a large skillet with some oil in it, and start to brown the spare ribs. You will have to do this in several batches., setting them on sheet pans to bake in the oven, 350F 45 minutes. In the pan you browned the ribs add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well and bring to a boil reduce heat to  medium-low. Cook for about 20-25 minutes slightly covered…should be syrupy.
 

Pour, brush the reduced sauce over the ribs and toss to coat, return them to the oven until nicely glazed.
